Mark your calendar for May 14 – 16,
2007 and set your sights toward Nashville, Tennessee and
the 2007 APCO Gulf Coast Regional Conference!
The Tennessee Chapter will be rolling
out the red carpet again for our guests from across the
Gulf Coast Region and the entire US, so get ready for some
southern hospitality and some country fun.
Our host city is known worldwide as “Music
City USA”, and with good reason. It serves as the
center for recording and publishing of not only country
and western tunes, but for rock, blues, and classical genres
as well.
The conference will be held at the
Nashville Convention Center in beautiful Downtown Nashville,
right across the street from the mother church |
|
of country music, The Ryman Auditorium. |
|
A revitalized downtown district offers
plenty of the entertainment and the nightlife that Music
City is famous for. You will enjoy ample shopping and a
wide selection of dining choices that are all within a
short walk of our conference location, as is the new Country
Music Hall of Fame, and recently completed Schemmer-horm
Symphony Hall.
If history is your passion, then be
sure to visit the Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson,
or Fort Negley, the last remaining fortification of the
Civil War in Nashville. |
|
Museums abound, like The Frist Center
for Visual Arts, The Adventure Science Museum, and the
Tennessee State Museum.
Our conference hotel, The Renaissance,
is conveniently connected directly to the Convention Center,
where discounted rooms will be available for all of our
attendees and exhibitors. |
|
So pack your boots for scootin’ with,
blue jeans and ten-gallon hat, and join us next May in
Music City for the 2007 APCO Gulf Coast Regional Conference.
“YALL COME!!!” |
